Golden Afternoon Wearing: My Piglet pjs because I already took a shower. After contemplating on whether or not I should write an entry tonight, I have decided to write one. Today I planted flowers. My mom and I went to Frank's and the Produce Junction to buy the flowers. We got geraniums, petunias, some vine-y plants whose names I don't know, marigolds, two hanging plants and these cute little flowers whose name I also don't know. We planted all of them this afternoon. They look bee-yoo-tee-ful! I really need a job this summer. There are so many places that I would want to work but they all hire at 16. I'm 14, but will be turning 15 on June 15th. Ku and I are searching for someplace that will hire at 15. So far we've scratched the Discovery Museum and many others. Right now we're considering Zany Brainy and Limited Too but haven't found out the age requirement of them yet. I just sent an e-mail asking that. Cross your fingers it's below 16. I guess I don't really need a job this summer, but I want to feel productive. I can always fall back on babysitting, but if I have a job I can do both and make even more money. I don't want to spend my whole summer babysitting, going to the pool, and going to Melissa's, as fun as that may sound. I need to get something done. Feel a sense of accomplishment. Make more money. I think I'm going to save up money for a car of my own. Now that the driving age is who-knows-when, I can probably save up enough. Even if it's not that great a car, it will be mine. I know my parents won't get me one, because we're really short on money and I don't think that will be improving anytime soon and they're going to be paying for my college and all so I'm going to have to buy it on my own. Hopefully my parents will let me use the money in my savings account for a car. I'll have to ask my mom about that. Today we used the grill for the first time this year. My dad grilled chicken and it was really good. Some of it was alittle chewy, which I don't like, but overall it was very yummy. Well, nothing much else to talk about.
