Scores of Super Sequels Today was the second-to-last day of real school. Tomorrow is the last day of real school and then the three days after that are finals days and the second-to-last day of school is finals makeups, which you don't have to go to if you didn't miss a final. And the last day of school no one goes anyway, so I'm not. And guess what!?!? My birthday is one Saturday!!! *accompanied by appropriate arm movements* Do do do do do doo, do do do do do doo! On Friday I'm going to take a few friends to lunch and a movie. We are going to go to Friday's, because for some reason, Melissa has never been there. And then we're gonna go see Scooby Doo at the movie theater nearby. Now believe me, Scooby Doo is not my idea of a quality film, but I swear, it's the only anywhere-near-good movie that will be out by Friday. My other choice was Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, which I don't want to see that much. All the rest sound stupid, are stupid or I've never heard of them. Speaking of movies, there's so many I wanna see this summer. They include:
Notice all of the sequels. Are there no new ideas for movies? What is this world coming to when they've run out of movie ideas and are left to creating stupid sequels in which they must try to bring back the comedy/romance/drama of the first one so that people will go see it and it will meet or surpass the box office records of the original. Whoa, go a little carried away there. I really don't care about sequels, I just noticed that a lot are coming out this summer. I happen to like them actually. Whoops, gotta go. Dinner's ready.
